About

I opened Tart Boutique in 2015 after buying an existing consignment shop that was for sale. I had been thinking of opening up my own shop for years, and this seemed like an opportunity that I couldn’t pass up! Tart Boutique sells vintage and locally sourced handmade goods for the home, as well as my own line of screen printed apparel and linens.
All of the products in the shop are meant to be both beautiful and functional. Things that have either stood the test of time or are made to do so. In a culture where we are so inundated with fast fashion and constantly changing gadgets and trends, Tart Boutique strives to focus on shopping with purpose and intention.

Products in the shop are both vintage and new. The new products are sourced from both independent artisans as well as those made ethically and traded fairly. Products are meant to serve a purpose, please the eye, and not harm the planet.
I have a studio space in the shop where I print each of the tea towels and t-shirts I design. I can often be found there printing up a quick batch when stock is running low and often spend my days off printing as well. I am self-taught and have learned quite a bit over the years through trial and error. My designs showcase my love of minimalist design and reflect my philosophy of striving to live a simpler life. In my free time, I love to spend time outdoors with my husband and two daughters.
